We are pleased to announce that Kaouther Mouheb, PhD candidate at our node, has been awarded a Euro-BioImaging EVOLVE Conference Participation grant to attend MICCAI 2026, one of the world’s leading conferences in medical image computing and computer-assisted intervention, taking place in Strasbourg, France, from 27 September to 1 October 2026. Kaouther is a co-organizer of the MICCAI Open Data session, a community initiative dedicated to promoting the sharing of high-quality, openly accessible medical imaging datasets, with a particular focus on underrepresented populations and diseases. The grant will support her participation in this year’s edition and help raise awareness of Euro-BioImaging’s data services within the MICCAI community, a large community of AI and computer-vision researchers who are natural users of open imaging infrastructure. Datasets from a previous edition were hosted on the Euro-BioImaging Medical Imaging Archive (XNAT).
