Two of our Imaging Office members are part of the EuCanImage workshop team to provide an in-depth exploration of advanced clinical data integration techniques, tools, and insights gained through the EuCanImage (European Cancer Imaging Platform for Development of Trustworthy AI in Oncology) project.

This workshop is designed for researchers, data scientists, and clinicians seeking to understand and utilize imaging and non-imaging clinical data to advance personalized healthcare and research methodologies.

Learning objectives
- Understand the key goals and contributions of the EuCanImage project in clinical research.
- Gain insights into the integration of imaging and non-imaging data in clinical settings.
- Learn about the organization and application of the metadata catalogue for managing diverse datasets.
- Explore tools developed to address clinical challenges through use cases in liver, colorectal, and breast cancer research.
- Acquire hands-on knowledge of running an in silico trial using EuCanImage tools.
- Learn about accessing and utilizing EuCanImage resources.
The workshop will consist of two sessions:
- 1st: focused on data and the platform
- 2nd: focused on case-studies and practical tools, including an in silico trial.
Participants in the hands-on session will have the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative study using the in silico trial tool. The results of this study may form part of a publication in an international journal, with co-authorship offered to those who participate actively in the research effort.
Can’t attend ECR 2025 in person? Don’t worry! The Session 1 of the workshop will be streamed via ESR Connect and available free of charge for later viewing. Session 2 is available exclusively for in-person participants. ECR 2025 registration is required to attend the workshop in person.
