The canSERV consortium releases their 4th, and final, open call: Open Call for Transnational Service Provision. As Imaging Office we are one of the service providers of canSERV with our Image Analysis and Image Storage services.
Now, what does this mean?
- Projects from outside of the Erasmus MC (can be on a national level, can be on a European level) can apply for this call, and if accepted, make use of the Imaging Office services for free. The services that are covered by this call are Image Analysis and Image Storage services. (The Imaging Office falls under Population Imaging Node Rotterdam as a service provider.)
- Services from other providers might be interesting for you as well, so take a look at the catalogue.
Some important rules:
- A project should address at least one of the four strategic goals of the Cancer Mission (i.e. understanding of cancer, prevention and early detection, diagnosis and treatment, quality of life for patients and their families).
- The service provision will be until the end of canSERV, i.e. end of May 2026. So, only small/shorter projects can take place.
- Projects applying for less than 3 services costing each less than 15K Euros will be reviewed in fast-track. This means they will undergo a lighter review process and can potentially be processed and approved quicker.
- The submission deadline is 15th of June 2025.
- Projects will be rigorously evaluated for scientific excellence and impact (see details here) by independently selected external experts in the field, the selection for funding will be made based purely on the review score and decided by the canSERV Scientific Management Board.
